Where the Industry Meets: Mingyi's Exhibition Journey

From a 30 m² Booth to China's Largest Furniture Stages

In the furniture industry, exhibitions are more than trade shows — they are proving grounds. A brand's presence on the exhibition floor signals its scale, its ambition, and its readiness to compete on the national and global stage. Since 2015, Mingyi and its parent company Xishi Furniture have been consistent exhibitors at China's most prestigious furniture events, growing from a modest 30-square-metre booth to commanding presences at the country's largest industry gatherings. Here is the story of that journey.

2019 Guangzhou Design Week — "Fresh"

December 2019. Guangzhou. The 2019 Guangzhou Design Week, themed "Fresh (新生)", brought the industry together one last time before the world changed. Spanning 120,000 m² across the Poly World Trade Center and Nanfung International Convention & Exhibition Center, the event drew 316,829 visitors over four days — a record-breaking crowd that cemented the Design Week's status as the largest and most influential design expo in Asia. Nearly 1,000 exhibitors from over 20 countries showcased their newest collections across six major zones: lifestyle design, smart lighting, home textiles, international fine furniture, whole-house customization, and building materials.

Mingyi was there — standing shoulder to shoulder with the industry's most established names, presenting its vision for high-end Italian-inspired seating to a design-savvy audience that came looking for what was next.

2020 CIFF Guangzhou — The Comeback Fair

July 2020. Just months after the global pandemic brought commerce to a standstill, the 45th China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) opened its doors at the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou, Guangzhou — the first mega-scale furniture exhibition in the world to resume post-pandemic. 1,607 exhibitors filled nearly 300,000 m² of exhibition space across Zones A, B, and C. Over four days, 145,363 visitors walked the halls — professionals who had waited months to reconnect with suppliers, discover new products, and rebuild supply chains disrupted by the crisis.

The civilian furniture section, running July 18–21, was the heart of the fair. Mingyi took its place among the industry's elite, demonstrating not just products but resilience — proof that the brand and its supply chain had weathered the storm and was already looking ahead.

A Decade of Showing Up

These two events are milestones in a much longer story. Since 2015, Xishi Furniture has been a fixture at the Guangzhou March International Office Furniture Exhibition, expanding its booth from 30 m² to over 200 m² as brand influence grew. In 2025, Mingyi appeared at both the Longjiang Furniture Expo and Guangzhou Design Week. In 2026, the brand debuted at the Dongguan International Furniture Expo — another top-tier industry stage.

Consistent exhibition presence is not just marketing — it is a commitment. It means investing in product development year after year. It means maintaining the production capacity to fill large orders discovered on the show floor. And it means building the kind of industry credibility that no advertisement can buy. For Mingyi, every exhibition is a promise kept: we are here, we are ready, and we are worth your time.
